What is Foodfresh?

BOC foodfresh gases are used for a variety of purposes in the food industry. Gases can be used as additives, processing aids or ingredients in contact with food. European legislation requires that foods, including gases supplied to the food industry, meet increasingly rigorous standards to ensure food safety. In particular, they must meet criteria regarding labelling, purity and hygiene.

If you make, store or transport food BOC foodfresh can help you do it better, faster, safer and cost effectively.

Applications

BOC Industrial provides a range of foodfresh gases in liquid, gaseous or solid form. These include gases for Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP), carbon dioxide for beverage carbonation, nitrogen for sparging of edible oils and fats, as well as nitrogen inerting for pharmaceutical use to protect fragile products against oxidation. BOC foodfresh products have enhanced laboratory appearance and are readily traceable.
